Funniest Movies With Female Leads

I love watching movies that make me laugh. When I see a movie that really gave me a good time, I tend to make references of it in daily conversations. Some of the funniest films I’ve seen are led by talented women. The chemistry among female leads is one to watch out for.

Bridesmaids

This film should be the mother of all funny movies with female leads. The friendship and the hardship it entails is portrayed very well by the actors. Directed by Paul Feig, and with characters brought to life by Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy, Ellie Kemper, and Rose Byrne, you will have your hearts warmed with your jaws aching for its crazy antics that hits right home for ladies and their best friends.

Mean Girls

Mean Girls is a classic for all teenage girls in the early 2000’s. This movie was written by Tina Fey; no wonder it’s a comic winner for everyone. It paved the way for the success of its stars Lindsey Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and Lizzy Caplan. Amy Poehler was an amazing addition to the already-funny cast.

Baby Mama

What do you expect from a movie that has Amy Poehler and Tina Fey as its leads? This film is absolutely funny and sweet, just like Amy and Tina. Opposites do attract as this film brings us closer to the opposite worlds of the characters. The slapstick comedy and the puns are surefire ways to crack up the audience, with the impeccable comedic timing of the two.

Alrighty then: Top Jim Carrey films

Easily one of the most accomplished stars of the 90s and 2000s is actor-comedian Jim Carrey. His humor is as wildly entertaining as his often-slapstick impressions are recognizable. Carrey has starred in countless films, but some are a cut above the rest, fully displaying his acting range and uncanny ability to embrace roles. Here are some of the ones we like the most.

Dumb and Dumber (1994)

Eleven movies in, and riding the relative success of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Carrey starred in this road comedy with fellow comedian Jeff Daniels. He portrayed an unintelligent and goofy character from Rhode Island who, alongside Daniels’, is hell-bent on returning a briefcase to its owner in snow-embraced Aspen.

Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls (1995)

This sequel is arguably a lot better than the original, featuring an outrageous plot that involved our animal-activist hero joining a monk monastery, fighting a warrior from a tribe, and saving bats from poachers. There’s so many memorable scenes and lines here, like the now-classic Carrey spiel “alrighty then.”

Me, Myself, and Irene (2000)

Carrey revisits Rhode Island, this time playing a well-mannered but cowardly cop with a split personality. He’s set on getting hid of alter ego Hank, mercy-killing an invincible cow, and winning the heart of a reformed criminal. The premise of the story is tailor-made for Carrey, whose wide array of facial expressions lend to the hilarity of it all.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

This is Carrey’s best performance in a serious role, and surely ranks high among his best works. It’s a haunting, endearing story of how relationships suffer, are abandoned, and recovered in a futuristic, sci-fi world where memory can be erased. The film is one of the modern classics, thanks in large to the surreal directing of Michel Gondry and the writing of Charlie Kaufman.

Real Estate Marketing Tips

The real estate sector is a tough market to be in. But it also provides for a more than decent living. In order to be successful in this profession, a real estate agent needs to have a vast network of people that can market and refer potential clients. A study found that 75 percent of a real estate agent’s business comes from referrals and word of mouth. With that in mind, here are some of the basic real estate marketing tips to get ahead of the game.

1. Be responsive

If you want to increase the reach of your network, you have to be responsive and mobile. And by mobile, I mean being able to communicate and post to your social networks on the go. Availability should be one of your strongest points. Making yourself easy to contact helps clients hire you easier.

Add social sharing to property pages

Homebuyers today are eager to share their top housing options to family and friends. Make it easy for buyers to share your photos to emails and social media sites by adding share buttons.

Create an irresistible content offer

Regularly put out content that will capture leads. Potential homebuyers, especially first timers, won’t just go ahead and purchase a house. Many of them will hit Google with queries like “What to look for when buying a new house” or “Most valuable features of a new home.” Make sure to write content that answer these questions. There’s a big chance they will land on your page.

When And How To Change Workout Programs

Admittedly, for most people, exercise can become boring. A month or so of hard training can become repetitive, especially if one prefers to work out in an enclosed space such as a gym. Apart from the mental burden it can place on fitness enthusiasts, following the same workout routine can be detrimental to one’s physical health as well. Fitness trainers have noted that in order to maintain optimum health, exercise regimens should be changed every so often to train all muscle groups in the body.

Still, switching workout routines too fast can be harmful too. The truth is, most workouts require at least several months for any definite change to be seen or felt. One of the most important points to any successful exercise regimen is consistency. Workouts should not be changed just because a person is feeling “bored” or “restless”. This is not to suggest that workouts are not changed at all. However, it is important to know exactly when changing workouts is beneficial. There are four points to consider.

It’s no longer working: This is the most obvious reason why someone should change their workout program. If the series of workouts is not doing what it’s suppose to do, then it is the best time to change. It’s recommended to speak with one’s trainer to better clarify the distinction however; remember, just “feeling” like something is not working is not an indication it isn’t.

Goals have changed: It can happen that during the course of an exercise program, one’s fitness goals change. For example, someone has switched from building muscle to losing fat. These are two different health goals and require different exercise routines.

Supreme boredom: If -- and this most be done only after giving this long thought -- one becomes extremely bored with their program, then it may be time to switch. Successful exercise programs are those that are consistent. This can only happen when the person is interested and motivated to stick to the regimen.

Unexpected changes: There are situations that are beyond a person’s control, such as a change in work schedule or similar concerns. Injuries can also prevent someone from following a program. For these cases, it’s ideal to switch workout programs.

Regardless of the reason though, people should always speak with their fitness trainer to ensure proper programs.

Three Mistakes Every Real Estate Investor Should Avoid

A lot of people invest in real estate, but not everyone knows exactly how to make the most out of their investment especially in a slow property market. Below are three common mistakes you should avoid if you want to win the uphill battle of being a real estate investor.

Not claiming all the legitimate items you can

You can get a lot from valuable tax savings by claiming items such as smoke alarms, security systems, swimming pools, and even garbage bins. Light fixtures and fittings with a depreciable value below $300 can be claimed during the first financial year.

Rushing the deal

One of the biggest mistakes an investor can make is to jump the gun and sign the deal. A lot of times, investors just want to get the deal over with. However, staying calm and patient while executing a deal is of utmost importance. Do not ignore the paperwork.

Not getting professional help

Some investors think that they can do it on their own. You will actually save more in the long run by employing the help of a professional realtor because they know this backward. And a lot of investors don’t realize that hiring a professional agent is completely tax deductible.

Live-Action “Mulan” Might Have Music After All

The entertainment world was turned upside down when news outlets released statements saying the live-action Mulan might not feature its original movie soundtrack. Mulan without music? Really? How could that be possible?

The “news” got a lot of Mulan fans pissed. With the recent success of the live-action version of “Beauty and the Beast,” many Disney fans thought Mulan without the music would be a sure failure. Known for hit songs “Reflection,” “Make a Man Out of You,” and “Honor To Us All,” Mulan surely stirred the hearts of many children and children-at-heart.

Fans stated horror when Niki Caro, the director of the live-action version of the 1998 hit, stated that the film would not have any songs as of her latest conversation with Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture. She even said the film would be a martial arts epic paired with thrilling and entertaining scenes. The film is set to be released worldwide in 2 November 2018.

But Caro, however, clarified that her earlier statements were taken the wrong way. She said that the parties just never talked about songs yet, and that nothing is final as of the moment. Well, I’m just glad they’re not entirely x-ing out the possibility of a music-filled, live-action Mulan. But I’d still be watching it with or without the music for the theatrical experience.

There are different ways to enjoy ginger. You can take it dried, fresh, powdered, juiced, or made as oil. If you’re not into the taste of ginger, for a start you can use it in small doses to spice up dishes. Career choices for the certified fitness trainer

Want to explore the broad world of health and fitness? If you’re like me, working on a fitness training certification, or if you’re interested in entering the industry, here are career choices that will fuel your passion.

Personal Trainer

Being a personal trainer is a rewarding experience. It allows an individual to be involved in someone’s goals and dreams. As a personal trainer, it is your duty to guide your clients in sticking to a fitness plan based on their current physical state and goals. Aside from doing one-to-one consulting sessions, personal trainers can also do virtual training or group exercise sessions.

Gym Assistant

For those who are still working on their certification, becoming a gym assistant is a good start. It is a customer service position, but you’ll get great on-the-job experience before you go a notch higher as a personal trainer or as a fitness consultant. Doing this job will definitely benefit your journey to becoming a fitness professional.

Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant

This appealing job is ideal for individuals who want to be set apart from other personal trainers. Lifestyle and weight management consultants are with their clients in every step of their journey, and not just inside the gym. Unlike personal trainers who are limited within the four walls of the gym, lifestyle and weight management consultants help clients change their eating and other lifestyle habits to aid long-term improvement. This job is a good way to level up one’s personal training career.
